A historic 1928 movie palace in the grand baroque style, the Renaissance Theatre is now the premiere venue for live entertainment in North Central Ohio. National Broadway Tours, rock, country, comedy shows and movies, as well as The Mansfield Symphony, play here throughout the year. Wander inside this breathtaking attraction to see where the Shawshank movie premiered!

Though The Shawshank Redemption movie is not showing at the Theatre, it is worth a visit to see where the movie premiered and take memorable photos.

Directions leaving Brooks’ Bench:
From North Park Street, left onto Main Street and get immediately in right lane. Right onto Park Ave. West. Renaissance Theatre on right. Park behind the Renaissance Theatre, take the alley between the hotel and theatre.  Distance from Central Park:  .3 miles.
