The Shawshank Trail is a Self-Guided Driving Tour to 16 Filming Sites!

You can choose which filming site to visit first, but we recommend following the order of the sites listed in the Trail brochure, starting with the Historic Ohio State Reformatory. Directions to each site are provided in the brochure to help avoid backtracking. Please note, there is an admission fee to tour the Ohio State Reformatory, but the majority of the other filming sites are free or by donation.
